Meals

The meals at Glacier Bays' Great Chinook Lodge are the best! Our breakfasts are made to order, and may include waffles, French toast, pancakes and much more, and usually served with the fresh local berry syrup in season.

To satisfy the hunger worked up by fighting fish all morning, lunch is served to you on the boat. If you are river fishing or fly fishing, back pack lunches are packed for you. We make our own fresh bread daily.

After an exciting day fishing, you are welcomed back to our comfortable lodge to relax and enjoy an excellent meal. Planned menus for the evening meal may include fresh Glacier Bay Dungeness Crab, Texas style BBQ rib eyes over Mesquite, Salmon, Halibut, and many more regional specialties.

Great Halibut

A unique blend of sauces poured over the day's catch.

Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon

Served straight from the plank for a unique presentation.

Honey Mustard

Served over the day's fresh catch of King, Red, or Silver salmon.

Clam Chowder

This Chinook Lodge favorite has been a work in progress for over 20 years.

Salad Dressings

Vinaigrette Rasberry, Strawberry, Wild Blackberry, Apriot, and Peach.

Salmon Barbecue Sauce

Served over the day's fresh catch of King, Red, or Silver salmon.

Whale Watching

The inside waters of the bay are protected from the open sea by many islands of Southeast Alaska. This is beneficial to everyone, because, there are no ocean swells. Our fishing grounds are also the summer home of the Humpback Whales, who spend there entire summer feeding in the rich waters of the bay. During the winter months these magnificent animals live in the warm waters of Hawaii. They are an added bonus and an unique and unforgettable experience for any fisherman.
