Great Halibut

Saute: Cook until onions are browned.

  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/4 Cup White Onion
  • 4 Ounces Sliced Mushrooms

Add:

  • 4 Ounces Crab (Fresh or Canned)
  • 1 Cup Crushed Saltine Crackers
  • 1/3 Cup White Wine
  • Salt & Pepper

Layer Casserole Dish: Halibut, Crab Mixture, Halibut.

Make the "Topping" Sauce:

  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Wine

Bake:

  • Top Halibut with "topping sause"
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Top casserole with grated swiss chees and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
