Great Halibut
Saute: Cook until onions are browned.
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/4 Cup White Onion
- 4 Ounces Sliced Mushrooms
Add:
- 4 Ounces Crab (Fresh or Canned)
- 1 Cup Crushed Saltine Crackers
- 1/3 Cup White Wine
- Salt & Pepper
Layer Casserole Dish: Halibut, Crab Mixture, Halibut.
Make the "Topping" Sauce:
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 3 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/3 Cup Wine
Bake:
- Top Halibut with "topping sause"
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Top casserole with grated swiss chees and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
